01. Contact
About trademark protection and procedure of trademark registration you can contact us through our form or e-mail. All administration is done in English language.
02. Offering
Based on information received we prepare the offer. For the offer we need short goods or service description that will be applied for trademark protection. Based on trademark classification we prepare list of goods whose scope is influencing on the amount of fee to be payed to EUIPO. Based on that you have the possibility to decide what items on the list of goods are justified, taking into consideration the costs.
03. Clarification
To all Your questions we reply in written, in English language, free of charge, in order to secure that Your request for trademark registration is the most accurate possible. If you have additional questions, we offer you possibility of online consultations with Google Meets, in advanced booked meeting time-slot. Consultations can be done in Serbian language with the service of translator. Fee for consultations is 70 EUR and it is included in lawyer fee, if you had hired us for trademark registration.
04. Preparation
Based on information clarified in previous chapter, we ask from You following data:
a. Trademark owner data:
-name, surname, address, nationality in case of a person
-name, seat, tax number, responsible person in case of legal entity
b.Exact content of the goods list
c.Trademark that you would like to protect (graphical trademarks that could be delivered in following format: jpeg format, max 2 MB , max 2 835 x 2 010 pixels image size, press resolution between 96 and 300 DPI)
05. Contracting
We shall prepare contract for hiring lawyer in English language and will send you proforma invoice. It is needed that you sign the contract and send it via email. After that and after payment of proforma invoice we will start with trademark research.
06. Researching
Trademark research is done from certain database with help of intelligent browser. Search of trademarks provide answer if trademark is identical or very similar to your mark. Similarity up to point of confusion can provide to the trademark owner base to oppose to Your trademark submission after the application has been submitted. Deadline for complaints is three months after trademark submission, during which everyone who thinks his already registered trademark can be mix with Your can submit complaint to Your application. Such complaints never can be excluded with apsolute certainty, considering that law enables objector to determine of this similarity exists. In such cases EUIPO decides on the objection procedure. However, research of trademarks efficiently can decrease chances for such objections because in advance we can inform you about number of potential objectors.
07. Submitting
After trademark research, we shall submit application for trademark protection. After that we will be sending you confirmation about successful submission, which also consists data about paying the fee according to EUIPO. The fees should be payed in 30 days deadline after submitting the application.
08. Registration
After paying the fee, EUIPO will publish trademark and start three-month period for appeals. After this period determines – if there are no objections – EUIPO will register trademark. We will be sending you confirmation on trademark registration and online data from EUIPO website that are related to your trademark. The whole process is lasting about four months from the day of submitting the application.
